Magistrates in the Community - Mock trial heats

Some of our Y6 children were invited to take part in mock trial at Tameside Magistrates Court. The children joined other schools from Rochdale and Bury, Tameside and Oldham, Salford and Manchester and Wigan and Bolton to reenact a trial dealing with cyberbullying. The children formed the prosecution and had a 'hands-on' experience of the rule of law. 

We are looking forward to a visit from Ian Moore JP in a few weeks time to learn more about our legal system.
